the twins and me

I think this is a very cute picture of Susan, Steven and me. I believe the picture was taken during the summer that the twins turned two.  I was three at the time so this picture dates back to 1951.  I notice that the twins are wearing identical overalls and, perhaps, the same style tee shirt.  awww  In my family there was a clear division as to which group of kids you belonged with.  One group was "the boys"  and the other group was "the twins and Jean".  I guess it was easier to refer to us this way rather than call out so many names.  It also divided us into groups where the members were closer in age and also were more compatible.  We knew which group we belonged to and that was that.  No cutting in line.  No musical chairs.  Now don't we look just adorable?
