a ghost in Norway

What a shadowy figure I am.  This backlit picture was taken in 2004 while my sister and I were sailing on the Hurtigruten along the Norwegian coastline.  What a wonderful trip that was.  We sailed from Bergen to Kirkenes and stopped at many ports along the way.  It was fun to walk down the streets of towns we had visited before, as well as, see new villages.  We crossed the arctic circle and lived in the sun for almost twenty four hours every day.  I remember coming face to face with reindeer roaming the streets of Hammerfest and watching the Norwegian royal yacht pass us near Kirkenes. Dinner with our boat mates was always fun with good conversations all around.  And, of course, the relaxation of sailing through the beautiful fjords was ever-present.  This was a memorable trip.
