It's just a nice picture of the four of us. I'm not sure where we are. Enjoy.

cookie baskets
Edwina, Charlie and me are standing by a table full of wrapped cookie baskets. Every second Saturday in December we got our team together and filled these wonderful little baskets made from recycled greeting cards. These baskets were then delivered to members of our church that weren't able to "get out" much anymore. What a delight it was for them to receive a visitor bearing a gift of homemade cookies in a cute little basket. It was such a fun project and everyone who worked on the project in any way was truly blessed.

cold and hot
I just thought I would put these pictures in the post to show the weather extremes of these events. My sons were snowboarding in cold weather (December) on Big Bear Mountain about ten years ago. Last week (July) I was in the high desert on the other side of Big Bear. It was 113 degrees.

good hair day 2013
Every once in a while I have a good hair day. June 21, 2013 was one of those days. They don't happen often but when they do, they really do.

lefse
If you are Scandinavian, then you know all about lefse (or as I call it--Norwegian brain food). It is particularly tasty when buttered and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Then you roll the flat circle of potatoes into a log shaped roll and munch away. Sooooo good.
